Kunafa Pistachio Croissant
Mentioned by guests in reviews
Cafe & Dessert House
Find the blue door on the 2nd floor in Taman Mount Austin, then get lost in the rooms behind it — pistachio croissants and Niko Neko matcha desserts inside.
The Space
The entrance is easy to miss from the street — just a blue door on the 2nd floor. Guests call finding it part of the adventure, and once inside, the cafe unfolds through a run of connecting rooms rather than one dining floor.
Paper lanterns and a lit-up flower tree carry the space from a bright, window-lit room by day into a moodier, lamp-lit one after dark — the same rooms, dressed differently depending on when you show up.

The cafe is an adventure from the moment of trying to find its blue door entrance on the 2nd floor. We ordered the Kunafa pistachio croissant which was crispy and rich in pistachio. Its drinks are very interesting too, love the taro latte and choco mint.
The Blue Door Coffee House is a hidden gem in JB that you should definitely visit! This café is an adventure in itself, with secret doors leading from one room to another. The food is not only beautifully presented but also exceeded my expectations after reading mixed reviews online.
I’ve been to The Blue Door Coffee House many times, and it’s truly a hidden gem on the 2nd floor! If you’re a matcha lover, this place is a must-visit. Their Matchamisu and Matcha Supreme are absolutely fantastic—rich, smooth, and full of deep matcha flavor.
